The HRB Primary Care Clinical Trials Network are pleased to announce details for the Association of University Departments of General Practice in Ireland (AUDGPI) annual Early & Mid Careers Day, to be held virtually via Zoom on Friday 20 November from 09:30-13:15. This is of interest to all those GP’s, GP trainees, health care professionals and social scientists currently involved, or with an early interest, in academic general practice and primary care. Irish GPs, health care professionals and social scientists at early and mid-career stages will outline their career pathways and what they have learnt along the way.
There will be parallel session on opportunities for research funding and opportunities for training in teaching and assessment. This will be then followed by a focus on international academic training opportunities. Parallel sessions on patient involvement in research and education will also be delivered.
The meeting is always an excellent networking opportunity and this will again be supported by a closed meeting to finish.
